Where to study

Kane Raukura Teacher education qualifications are offered by a range of universities, wananga, polytechnics and private teacher education providers. This has increased the number of places throughout the country where teacher education can be accessed. There are now many more options for part-time, distance, online, campus-based and specialist programmes.

Below is a link to the secondary teaching qualifications offered by providers. Before qualifications can be listed here, they must have gone through a quality assurance process and have had the approval of the NZ Teachers Council.
